The Welfare Team serves as a compassionate support system within the church, dedicated to addressing both the collective and individual needs of the congregation. This team provides care and assistance during significant life events such as the joyous arrival of new births, baby dedications, weddings, hospital visits and bereavements.

With a heart for service, the Welfare Team ensures that every member feels loved, supported, and connected during times of celebration and challenges.

The usher team is responsible for facilitating smooth operations during church services and special events. Volunteers ensure that worship services are welcoming, orderly, and conducive to worship, ‘Let all things be done decently and in order’
1 Corinthians 14:40.

Volunteers serve as representatives of Elpis, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for attendees. Volunteers may be the first point of contact for attendees, ensuring a positive first impression is vital.

Sanctuary cleaners play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, order, and reverence of the sanctuary space in the church and ensures the sanctuary is welcoming, and respectful space for worship and community gatherings.

The Protocol, Events, and Announcements Team is essential in fostering a spirit of excellence, hospitality, and community. By managing logistics, enhancing communication and engagement, and ensuring seamless operations, our behind-the scenes work supports the church's vision and mission, creating impactful and memorable experiences that embody the heart and spirit of our Elpis.

The Music Team is a vital ministry dedicated to enhancing the worship experience through inspiring and spiritually uplifting music. By creating an atmosphere of reverence, joy, and unity, the team plays a key role in guiding the congregation into a
deeper connection with God during worship services and special events. Ministrations may include solo songs (acapella included), duets, spoken word, playing of instruments and choir ministrations.

The Media and Communications Team serves as the creative and operational backbone for all media-related activities within the church. This team ensures that the church’s mission, vision, and message are effectively communicated through various channels, including print, digital, and audio-visual mediums. By leveraging technology, storytelling, and strategic design, the team enhances the church’s outreach, engagement, and representation within the congregation and the broader community.

The hospitality team is dedicated to providing food and refreshments during church events, gatherings, after-service and special occasions. Volunteers in the hospitality team supports the church community by ensuring meals and snacks are prepared, served, and cleaned up efficiently, fostering fellowship and hospitality. This team often works behind the scenes to make events welcoming and memorable, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met while upholding the church’s mission of service.

APT is a dynamic and passionate group of individuals dedicated to nurturing young people into godly men and women, ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new’ 2 Corinthians 5:17.

The Evangelism Team is dedicated to winning souls for the Kingdom of God and increasing the church's impact through purposeful outreach. This includes organising and participating in community engagements, crusades, and special events both within the church and beyond. The team seeks to embody Christ’s love and share the Gospel message with a focus on transforming lives, leading others to Faith in Christ and building a thriving community of believers.

The Education Team plays a vital role in fostering spiritual growth, biblical knowledge, and discipleship within the church community, Elpis Christian Ministries. Volunteers are responsible for teaching, guiding, and nurturing participants across various ministries, ensuring alignment with vision and mission.

Assimilation is responsible for welcoming new members, ensuring they feel connected, and facilitating their smooth integration into the church community. This includes introducing them to church programs, cultivating strong relationships, and providing support as they transition into active participation in the life of Elpis.
