BE POSITIVE, BECOME POSITIVE:

One of the greatest tools of the 21st century is the power of media, now it has progressed to social media, most people have no idea the impact this has on their lives, it affects what we see, hear, wear, eat, where to live, what to believe, what to aspire to be or become, basically it affects every aspect of our lives.  

The most cancerous aspect of the media is it has placed the majority of people on this conveyor belt with the same wrong mentality and it has eroded POSITIVITY in people. As a Pastor when I speak with people especially the younger generation it’s like they are all the same - negative mentality, easily giving up, no fighting spirit, wrong self-image, wrong self-worth, peoples dream’s and potential have been killed through the media.

Now listen to me. The bible is so wise if you delve into it, Romans 12: 2 tells us do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed; conformed. Conformation is a process, things you see, things you hear, friends you keep, how you interact with social media, as you get involved with these and more you are being conformed/fashioning to be a certain way, which will affect how POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE you can be or become.

So, this week start the transformation process, regain your positivity let go of negativity, your weight or size shouldn't be defined by the media, your ascent should not be defined by the media, how you dress not by the media, and most importantly who you are is defined by the word of the Lord and NOT media.

I would encourage you to read a chapter of the book of Proverbs a day.
