Help us get our own church building so we can continue to make the name of the Lord great as well as continue to facilitate the youth by giving them a home off the streets, the elderly, the sick and the destitute
The assimilation team is the anchor of Elpis Christian Ministries, simply because they are the face of the church and first impressions stick forever.
Here at Elpis, we have a four-stage process that not only brings numerical growth but births leaders and disciples.
Stage one is crowd we look past the crowd and pick out first timers, giving them a warm first experience by displaying our mission statement ‘Creating an atmosphere of love and acceptance where lives can be transformed and impacted upon’. Stage two is congregation, after welcoming newcomers and making them feel accepted, working closely with the follow-up team a rapport is developed and newcomers now become part of the congregation and eventually members.
Stage three is comittment, people only commit to where they feel accepted, this is the key stage in the assimilation process as all of our departments are voluntarily filled, without commitment the will of the Lord cannot be fulfilled.
Stage four is core, after being picked out of the crowd, assimilated into the congregation, become committed they now become the core of the church, branching off into leaders and deacons which we pride in being a transferable skill to the workplace.
